Why Choices matter...
Council is a relatively new experiment in government. The end of the last great war showed the necessity of a common place for different people to gather and speak in the hope that peace can be an answer instead of war. It was a gathering of the Hyberians, the People, the Villyna, the Highlandish, and the peoples of Florane meeting together to stop the advances of the Old World.
A keep was established that belonged to none but housed all. It has been one hundred and fifty years since the end of the last great war, the keep has bloomed into a thriving community. Some live there to work, some live there because of the hope the keep promised, and of course the diplomacy brings many people there year round.
There is no recognized religion in Council, all beliefs are held the same respect.
Trade is very important to Council, being a hub between the various governments puts the keep in a great place to foster trade between countries. Gold is the coin of the realm and exchanges are available to facilitate commerce.
The “country” of Council is maintained by a representative of each country working together. They handle the running and maintenance of the “country”, as well as being involved in diplomatic matters. So far this as been done in a peaceful manner…
The small area around the keep is beautiful and temperate, farmland surrounds the keep and provides the keep year round with food.
